Students fundraise for Manchester Children's Hospital

Salford City Academy librarians are fundraising for Manchester Children’s Hospital in support of Year 8 student, Lewis Pierce.

To raise money for the hospital currently caring for fellow student Lewis, students are selling tickets for a number of competitions and raffles!

Name the ‘Build a Bear’ Reindeer – 50p (Donated by Principal, Mrs Mackenzie)

Name the Dog – 50p (Donated by BHS, Trafford Centre)

Guess how many chocolates are in the box – 50p (Donated by Thorntons, Trafford Centre) 

Pamper Packs Raffle - £1 including brands such as Clarins, YSL, Liz Earle, Molton Brown of London and Elizabeth Arden (Donated from Boots, Trafford Centre)

Organiser Debbie Wilkinson, LRC Manager, said:

“Thanks for all the kind donations; please can both students and staff dig deep in your pockets and visit the library to have a go!”
