Getting to the Heart of the Matter

Year 7 Science Club study hearts!

Science Club is an opportunity for our Year 7 students to engage and have fun with all aspects of the Science curriculum.

Before half term, pupils dissected hearts using scalpels and scissors to study the organ in detail.

Running every Wednesday after school (3.00pm), pupils have also made and tested rockets and parachutes, as well as more seasonal activities such as making slime for Halloween and fireworks for Bonfire Night!

Science Club is run by Mr Jones, Science Technician, with assistance from Miss Vickers, Miss Dean and James Landregan, Year 10 student.
