A variety of enriching opportunities for all
We are delighted to introduce our new Autumn Extended School programme for students.
Salford City Academy's extended curriculum incorporates many things that students choose to do beyond their academic lessons to enrich their personal wellbeing.
The enriching opportunities we offer at the academy help to give experience in those subjects and interests students have a passion for. They add value to students' learning by extending their depth of understanding. Clubs and societies allow young people to pursue new interests such as sports and sports teams, music, languages, competitions and The Duke of Edinburgh Award. We encourage all our students to access at least one enrichment session per week.
At the academy, there are over 50 enrichment sessions led by a mixture of staff and pupils with a passion for their activities – not including GCSE and BTEC catch-up and boosters.
