Next Steps for Year 11

Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) meetings have taken place this week.

Salford City Academy’s Year 11 students have been busy undertaking meetings with our senior leadership team (SLT) and their next steps.

Earlier on in the academic year, our Year 11s completed a survey to discover what their career plans were after school, including further education and training.

Following on from that the IAG meetings with SLT have taken place to discover if our students still have the same aspirations and whether they are on track in terms of research into courses and colleges, and also college applications.

Staff have offered their knowledge and support to students at this challenging time to ensure they achieve their goals.

Many students have also taken the opportunity to sign up for Salford City Academy’s Sixth Form Taster Day.  The day will introduce students to life in Sixth Form, provide tasters in available courses and support them in their College Application Process (CAP) with a dedicated session.
