Salford City Academy are proud to announce that we have been awarded the School Games Silver Kitemark Award.
Salford City Academy are proud to announce that we have been awarded the School Games Silver Kitemark Award. We are the only High School in Salford to have been accredited with the award, demonstrating our success and commitment to Physical Education, competition, cross curricular links, leadership opportunities, inclusion and cultural awareness in sport.
This Nationally Recognised award supported by Sport England, Youth Sport Trust, Change 4 Life, The Dept of Culture, Media and Sport(DCMS) and the Dept for Education (DfE) was awarded to SCA in October for our work over the 2012-2013 academic year and is an improvement on the Bronze award we achieved last year. This Academic year we are ‘going for Gold’- something only 194 schools in the country have ever achieved.
