Year 5 primary pupils join academy for Sport and Creative Art festival
We were delighted to welcome local Year 5 pupils for a series of lively Sport and Creative Arts Festivals in May.
Pupils from Barton Moss, Lewis Street and Christ Church primaries visited the academy to spend time in our Sport and Music departments.
In Music, the children created musical medleys! They were introduced to Garageband (computer software) and then were set a challenge to create a music track. The pupils created the track to fit their own personal music tastes from audio loops in varying genres and midi keyboard tracks.
Next in Sport, pupils warmed up with a series of ball games and races, and then all played an energetic game of rounders!
Ms Anderton, Christ Church primary school teacher, said:
