Well done to Jennifer McPhee, Year 9!
In February Year 9 and 10 participated in the UK Maths Challenge, a nationwide competition organised by the UK Mathematics Trust.
We are delighted to report that Jennifer McPhee, Year 9, has won ‘Best in School’ and therefore been invited to take part in a Maths Day at Liverpool University with all the other winners.
All winners are allowed to take a friend and Jennifer has asked Precious Tunde-Olaitan.
Andrew Wexler, Head of Maths, said:
“This is a fantastic achievement in Maths and Jennifer is our first student to have been invited to attend a UK Maths Challenge winners’ workshop. We’re very proud of her.”
