Before the Easter Break, the Maths Department held their annual Easter Egg hunt for all academy students and staff.
Maths problems – including working out the ages of some of the Maths teachers - were put up around the academy, with the challenge to find and solve all the problems.
The winners of the competition were Dawid Wojtkowiak in Year 7, Georgia McNorton in Year 8, Rhys Griffin in Year 9 and Phil Merrishaw, also in Year 9. The overall winner was Daniel Maccabe in Year 10 (pictured with his prize). The staff prize went to Mrs Stanistreet.
Mrs Temple-Heald who organised the Easter egg hunt, said:
“Well done to all the winners! Keep your eyes peeled for the summer beach ball hunt, coming to displays near you in June.”
