On Friday 13th March, Salford City Academy raised an incredible £537.16.
At the request of the Student Council, and with approval from Principal Mrs Mackenzie, 50% will be paid to Comic Relief and the remaining 50% will be divided between five charities as chosen by each year group (following consultation).
Therefore, the following payments have been paid:
£268.58 to Comic Relief 2015
£53.71 to Save The Children to help in the fight against Ebola.
£53.72 to Cancer Research UK
£53.72 to Help for Heroes
£107.43 to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (Two year groups nominated this charity).
