The annual UCAS Convention took place on Wednesday 2nd March and our Year 12s seized the opportunity to travel to Manchester Central to attend.
The day was a chance for students to evaluate the range of opportunities available nationwide for universities and apprenticeships.
The chance to speak to various education establishments encourages students to think about the courses on offer and the direction to follow.
Amy Barlow, Head of Careers, said:
“Talking to a variety of education providers really inspires students to think more about their future, for example, Megan and Melissa were searching for sport and teaching opportunities and both have left with even more ambition and prospects for further education or training.”
“These visits always help focus students as they prepare to start writing their personal statements for UCAS applications in Year 13.”
