PZ Cussons join Year 7 for a day of fun-packed activities.
Our Year 7 students are now settling in to life at high school. Their first day at the Academy, a Science Fun Day with PZ Cussons, was a great introduction to the building, staff and other students.
On 2nd September, PZ Cussons staff joined Year 7 students for a fun-packed day of science experiments, hands-on activities and literacy workshops.
Students learnt about colour and fragrance, salt and rheology, product marketing, bottles and plastics, surfactants and finally transport.
The day culminated in the production of shower gel, which the students were able to take home as a reminder of their day, along with a free goodie bag from PZ Cussons.
Ms Rose Daniels, KS3 Inclusion Manager, said:
“It was a fantastic opportunity for our Year 7s to meet other students and staff, gelling together in a brand new environment. Great fun was had by all.”
The Academy would like to thank all PZ Cussons staff for their part in Year 7’s first day.
