Sudents Molly, Lauren, Casey and Olivia organised a charity cake sale today to raise funds for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
The charity is particularly special to this year group as the hospital has cared for one of our students over the past two years, and they wanted to show their gratitude.
The girls baked their socks off last night with the support of their mentor Mr Owen and Mrs Black, Head of Vocational Studies. They set up by the main staircase and made lots of posters to advertise their sale.
Year Leader Sarah Robinson said:
“The girls have done really well and they’ve organised the whole cake sale themselves!”
So far the students have raised £26.50. Well done!
