Year 7 Admissions

Applications for September 2025 are closed.

The academy will consider all applications and will refer to our Admissions Criteria when offering places.  

Any parent(s) wishing to apply to Salford City Academy for a place for their child in Year 7 in September must use the application form published by the Local Authority which can be found on this link here. 

Applications for September 2025 will open on 1st September 2024 and will close on 31st October 2024, applicants will be notified of their places via the local authority portal on the 3rd March 2025.

In Year Applications (Year 7 - 11)

Parents of students who wish to transfer into Salford City Academy in Years 8 to 11, or those with a mid-year admission request, should approach the Salford Local Education Authority. You can find the the page on Salford City Council via this website here.
